SCHOOL
IN THE PUBLIC GARDEN PROGRAM
PURPOSE:
*To
move ahead with subsidizing the environmental
diligence, concerning the schools, modifying
the focus of a passive vision, which is restricted
to events such as commemorations of the green
and nature, the preservation of animals and
plants, selective gathering of garbage and
other material, to adopt a critical vision
of the environment in its whole, as a place
to live the mediate and the immediate, which
is so close to us here and now, not just the
fruition of rights, a stage setting of socialization
of a daily battle in a systematic claim for
activation and improvement – an endless
search regarding the well-being not only in
economic levels, but above all taking into
consideration the quality of life in its whole
aspect, since it is quite impossible to grant
an educational environment disconnected from
the idea of formation of values and attitudes.
*This
program began in the year 2002, and it has
reached already 8.850 students in the medium
and fundamental public education schools in
shore (coastal) cities such as Pariquera-Açu,
Registro, Jacupiranga, Cajati and Cananéia
(all of them in the state of São Paulo).
