* This program contemplates the concern of an advantage already adopted by the Sistema Nacional de Unidades de Conservação (National System of Maintenance Units). Our main purposes take into consideration the continuous process of social and cultural changes, with the management of a calendar of actions aimed to local communities, departing from the fundamental elements of preservation, conservation and recovery of environmental resources already included at the Unidade de Conservação (Maintenance Unit), having as main referential the indication and orientation of bigger political actions which could be taken out in a national and international level, with Integrity of Inheritance, Social Peace, Progress and Sovereignty.

* The creation of such an inheritance has carried out new demands that have burdened the natural resources of life and environmental quality with huge social losses, mainly in the last decades of the 20th century, questioning the standards as well as the priority of quality of life..

JUSTIFICATIONS:

* The Save the Jungles Program takes into account the cooperation with organizations that strive themselves defending the environment and its equilibrium, in order to achieve a better and more coherent social development, for the sake and welfare of our planet’s entire population. This is a serious world problem. Here too, it is our main goal to include in our purpose the elementary principles that were adopted in the Kyoto Treaty, duly adopted and signed by the Brazilian Government in August 23, 2002.
